I was born in Lima, Peru and emigrated to the United States in 2000. I received a B.A. in Comparative Literature and Hispanic Studies from Brown University in 2015. My current research interests include: the nineteenth and twentieth century literature and culture of Latin America and the Caribbean, specifically narrative, poetry, and the essay; literary theory, particularly that of the twentieth century; and the practice and theory of literary translation.
