Fara holds MA degrees in both Italian and French studies. She studied at the Università di Bologna in Italy and at the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign, as well as in France as an exchange student at the ENS in Lyon and Paris. Her interests are wide and include History of Art, Translation Studies, Contemporary literature and narratives.
Currently, she is working on Italian Renaissance literature. So far, she has worked on the use of realistic techniques in the Orlando furioso and on virtue, gift, and prostitution in relation to Ariosto’s theatrical production.
